Overview
Design Wave is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app does not collect or transmit any personal information, and it stores nothing outside your device.
Motion Data
The app measures motion and device-orientation data while you wave your phone, solely to produce the Design Wave effect. This processing happens entirely on-device and is never transmitted or stored.
Photos
The Photo background lets you pick an image using Apple's Photos Picker, which runs outside the app's process — Design Wave only ever receives the single image you choose and is never granted access to your photo library.
Fonts
You may select an installed font for a design using the system font picker. No other data is accessed.
Storage
All designs and messages are stored locally on your device. Design Wave has no user accounts, no login, and no server — nothing syncs anywhere.
Purchases
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment information and have no way to identify who made a purchase; entitlement is verified on-device.
No Analytics or Tracking
Design Wave uses no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs.
Network
The only network traffic Design Wave generates is an optional tutorial video download and Apple's own App Store/StoreKit traffic.
Website waitlist
This section covers the Design Wave website, not the app. If you join the launch waitlist on this site, we store the email address you enter, the date you joined, which signup form you used, and any campaign tags in the link that brought you here. We use it for one thing: to email you when Design Wave is available on the App Store. We don't sell or share it, and we don't add it to any other mailing list.
Every email we send includes a link to leave the waitlist. You can also ask us to delete your address at any time by writing to privacy@reiterate-app.com.
